Defining Photos - The First Shots

The Latest Log Entry • Posted 1 year, 5 months Ago • September 2, 2008

So I’ve always fancied myself a photography hobbyist, and I’ve always wanted to do a real series. So here’s my idea (not that it’s a new one), but over the next year, as I randomly take photos in the Tech scene, I’ll slowly work on a “Defining Photos” series. This will be non-posed portraits of the people in tech around me that I’ve come to be friends with. My goal is to get one photo per person that defines them, as I know them. I don’t know if I can do it, but here are the first 3 in the series. Taken last week at NVISION 2008.

Update: I decided I’d try for 24 people in the series, with 2 defining photos each. One face/portrait photo and one non-traditional/body/non-face photo. Hmm, this could get tricky….
