So I’ve always fancied myself a photography hobbyist, and I’ve always wanted to do a real series. So here’s my idea (not that it’s a new one), but over the next year, as I randomly take photos in the Tech scene, I’ll slowly work on a “Defining Photos” series. This will be non-posed portraits of the people in tech around me that I’ve come to be friends with. My goal is to get one photo per person that defines them, as I know them. I don’t know if I can do it, but here are the first 3 in the series. Taken last week at NVISION 2008.
Update: I decided I’d try for 24 people in the series, with 2 defining photos each. One face/portrait photo and one non-traditional/body/non-face photo. Hmm, this could get tricky….
So those are it! What do you think?
Finally, other than 1 small CSS issue, WiredGhost v1 is up! Look forward to some interesting posts soon. First of which will probably be me ranting about my iPhone 3G reception. Really Apple, can I have some 3G with my iPhone? (And it IS Apple, not AT&T, photographic evidence forthcoming)
I wanted to make a separate section for those small random posts like “I just got new shoes” or something. I didn't want to just exclude them – it's the details that count – but I didn't want all my posts to be just a digest of what is going on.
So here are the diary entries. Read em, if you care and have time. If not, check out the Articles and the blog entries – that's where the big stuff is at.
